I tend to use this always.

"Hello there!" (No pronouns in case someone isn't a guy or gal)

"Here's your order."

Followed by "have a woderful
(Day,evening,night)"

I often wonder what others say because they don't get tips lol. I average 12$ for an 8hr shift. Sometimes even 20$ :)

Yeah there are some pretty savage names out there. Can anybody top an order for-
Kratch?

Hi. I'm here from UberEats/Doordash with your order. Would you please verify the name on the order? Thanks. Here ya go. Enjoy your food and have a great day/night. Thanks.

Doordash customers have actually invited me in to share their food with them. I decline, but that's pretty darn nice of someone to offer to share their food with me. I get larger orders from DD. UE is mostly small orders in my very limited experience. Maybe on big orders Ubereaters would offer to share.

Wow is it mostly opposite gender that invites you in to share their food?
Maybe you are considered sexy or something or people are just desperate for chit chat idk...
Gf and other people have said I look like serial killer so I doubt I'd ever get invited in.

I got invited in by a family. It seemed rather wholesome looking. No creepy vibe or anything. And I did get invited in by a young lady. Maybe there was a little sexual tension there with the young lady or maybe my middle-aged brain wanted there to be a little sexual tension there. Whatever the reality was, I am happily married and no girl out there has anything that I haven't had before multiple times so I politely declined. But again, I thought the very act of being asked to share food with a stranger was pretty nice. I assure you I don't look like I need a meal. Far from it. I look like I need to skip quite a few.

There are actually still some nice people out there.

I look them dead in the face and say whatever name is on the order with a pizzled look kinda like “is rhis you” (for hard names I skooooowly attempt to pronounce it and drag out the first syllable usually they spit it out and I dont have to worry about messing it up) as soon as its obvious its them I say Wonderful! From there if they seem inviting I say something like heres your Zaxbys hot and ready have a great day/night if they dont seem open I say Here you go have a wonderful day / evening.

I have only been with UE 11 Days..... Just a disclaimer.
I have been in the food industry over 20 years though from cashier to District Management its no different than handing them food through a srivethru or over a coubter for me.

I averaged 40% tips first week and 55% for this week so far.

I carry a box in my van full of junk placea forget or dont know to put in.

Paper plates
Napkins
Straws
Dinner mints
Plastic silverware
Sandwich bags

I premake a bag with everything but a plate for quick decisions i keep 20 made up.
Platea are for hotel/motel deliveries.

I spent like $8 at Dollar Tree and made 10 times that much back. Gotta call good luck wveryone

You make goody bags for them. I love it lol but you won't see me doing that. You are smarter than most to work those tips. Probably helps being a girl too...

Great show, if you liked that you should check out Vice Principals.
It's kind of random but I watched vice principals before eastbound haha.
I wrote off EAD as a dumb show when it first came out, but I understand Danny Mcbride's comedy a whole lot more now. I made the mistake of assuming he was being serious in portraying a character like that.
He's part of the team working on the new Halloween, pretty excited. Dude is versatile as heck

DAmn didnt know about Halloween. I love McBride and Jody Hill's dark sense of humor. Dont know if you've seen "The Foot Fist Way" but its the movie that put McBride and Hill on the map. If you liked VP and Eeastbound you will like it

You guys are so courageous for using names. I'd be afraid of butchering them NVM instances like yesterday where a lady comes and picks up and I saw the name (seemed like dudes name) "order for uhhhh...for you" lol

I'm always wary of customers thinking I think their real name is what's listed as I wouldn't want them to think that I think they're trans or something when they're not.

Yesterday I got order for MichealDUP.
Was trying to figure out if it was something dumb pax was hoping I'd say.
