Seems like it matches the amount of tips you have gotten.

But it's not added to the total and today's Wednesday, I did receive cash but it wasn't 2 dollars, is there any way the rider can tell if they left cash tips???

Ahh! lol I doubt that is what they mean when a rider leaves cash tip without using the app. Uber doesn't know and I highly doubt they care. I have received cash tips this week and is not there.

It's matching tips with cash tips, except the cash tips not adding to my total but I'll let it be, I'll see by tomorrow if it's gonna continue

I reviewed the prior weekly earnings and confirmed the weekly tips match the weekly 'cash collected'.
most of us are in regions where cash tips are not part of the app. to my knowledge they are entered by the pax or yourself Im actualyl not sure. feel free to pipe in if you do know!
It would be kind of foolish for a driver to record they took a cash tip then it is taxed. I am guessing there maybe some way for the pax to enter a cash tip amount they gave so that they can expense it. I would question Uber on it and deny any cash changed hands.

It has nothing to do with collecting cash. I made a $5 in-app tip last night on a fare, and on my daily summary it shows $5 as cash collected. It's a new way of summarizing the tips received for that week.

That makes sense. There must be some accounting reason on their end having to do with how they are taxed or something.

I'm sure the report a loss on tips collected and paid because they have cc processing fees associated with them
