for some reason, I started receiving delivery requests today. I've never received them before. I'm not going to do them but can't figure out how to stop the requests.

Help. Thanks.

I noticed it was on my app. I tweeted uber, then they sent me the link. I emailed telling them to take it off my app.

I've sent two messages through the app and one through my driver account. It's been 2 hours. No response. There's nothing anywhere to opt out. If they make us do this I will never accept one. Ever.

So, you can opt out. Click cancel delivery next time it comes up - then select the reason you canceled as not wanting to do delivery option. Sometimes it will take a day or so before you stop receiving them.

EDITED: The cancel won't count as cancels towards your driving amount, so there's nothing to worry about there.

Don't be picky do what ever Uber wants you to do are you too good to deliver a hamburger 10 miles and not get a tip?

One thing I noticed about Delivery with Uber... on my very first day I started getting delivery requests, and I agree that no PAX has a plus sometimes. But the downside was: 1) My car ended up smelling like whatever food I had in there; 2) I sometimes had to wait longer than a few minutes from the restaurant for the food to be ready (Uber did credit me by the way); and 3) I had the person who ordered the food really unable to tell me which building or apartment she was in (she knew the number but I had to walk a few different buildings up 3 flights of stairs to find her) and she wasnt appreciative...

So Uber took me off immediately after a few more deliveries I did because I didnt like it... was too much of a pain.
Hope that helps!

Two ways: contact the app help, they will send you a link to opt out, which I did or go to the uber hub. Delivery is a pain and not worth your time

They aren't responding to my 3 messages I sent today. They have a bad habit of just flat out ignoring me. But I tried what Fred Bloggs suggested earlier so we'll see if that works. Just odd I've never had a request before today then I get about 6 in a row. Something is fishy

I got into it with a restaurant owner off 114. He was serving people walking through the door before having the cook get my order. After 20 mins, I told him to fly a kite and that I was cancelling. Haven't received a delivery request since.
