I get in the queue when I drive by I-480 on Grayton Rd. on my way to the lot. I have to be in the right lane and it works best when I'm stuck at the light there.
An especially odd thing that has happened as of late shows the queue with less than 20 cars (today I came in with 16 cars showing) and then Uber repeatedly sends me texts to "drive in the city" because 46 partners are waiting in the lot.
Why are there so many cars in the lot who are not online (I'm assuming their apps are on but offline since Uber knows they're here)?
