Should be able to determine that yourself. I just wash my car at home maybe once every couple of weeks if it's a nice day. Never vacuum, sometimes wipe the dust off the screen with my jacket. Never any mess, looks clean enough. I did have to remove a bottle once and put it in the recycling bin. That was hard work

Keeping the car clean is for my own sake.. Couldn't care less what pax think about it

washing carpeted floor mats improves smell.

Usually cleaning stuff that's dirty, makes it smell better. Cleaning something generally won't make it smell worse. Its just how it works. Good life skill to have
