Someone on this forum once mentioned washing carpeted floor mats improves smell.
I tried it.
IT WORKS !
Especially if you haul a lot of bar patrons.
I pressure wash mine.

My carpet mats have gone into storage. Nice new black rubber mats replaced them front and back. Great for the rainy summer days and easy to clean.
The thing I have noticed is that the black plastic strip up the passengers door gets grubby quick with passengers hands closing the door. I wipe that twice a day.

I got hit by a drunk driver 4 weeks ago and my 2015 Lexus RX was totaled. Due to having low mileage on it I got 35K from the insurance company so I bought a 2010 Nissan Versa with only 12k miles on it to uber with and then I used the rest to buy a 2012 Lexus as my personal car.

I only plan to drive on weekends and Monday mornings for airport runs since Monday is my home office day for my regular job and I can start later that day. My plan is to wash it every Friday, vacuum after each shift and I use dryer sheets hidden under the seats to keep a pleasant scent, I plan to replace those every 3-4 weeks.

Oreck makes a nice hand vacuum that is quite powerful and plugs into your power outlet, I won it 4 years ago in a charity raffle and I used it for the first time this weekend, I was impressed.
