Houston Heat!

I know after six hours of heat and humidity yesterday, I was starting to smell a bit funky myself.

That's when you blame the smell on the previous pax.

I always do! I also had a pax yesterday who stunk up the car with some OG Kush.

When I'm alone in the car, I crank up the A/C and lift my arms just right so the chilling air funnels up my sleeves and into my pits.

I dont mean to be racist, but i have noticed that Indian people seem to smell little bit funky. I wish i could tell them or whoever smells horrible to start using Antiperspirant

I feel you. I had one guy, stunk up my car so badly that every other pax after him thought it was me. I couldn't do anything to get the smell out and found myself apologizing for the smell right when they got in. Not a smart move on my end. I don't think they believed me and thought I was lying because my rating sure dropped after that. I've learned to just not say anything about funky smells to the pax that get in after a funky one gets out.

Carry wet wipes. Right after you drop them stinkies, wipe the seats properly. It helps bigtime. I carry clorox wipes. They do wonders

Good tip! I think I'm going to have to try that.

My garage is currently a temporary staging area for some furniture, but usually when I can park in the garage I leave the windows down when I park for the night and spritz in some Febreze and Lysol.

FUMAIRX - it's hard to find but some Walmarts carry it. Small aerosol can. It can be used as a stink bomb. I've taken smoked in rental cars and put it in continuous spray mode on the center armrest console, close the doors, and let it be. Really bad cars may need 2 cans. Car dealers use this stuff too. I keep a can and just give a few sprays every now and then. It has a cleaner smell, not like a cover up. Way better than Ozium. It's magical stuff, I'll tell you that.

Not racist just speak the truth.
And yes people from the Middle East, not all, but most seem to not use anything.
A person last year kept complaining about the smell of that demographic of people when they drove for Uber. I laughed do to knowing very well since I dealt with Saudi's on a one on one basis yrs ago that bathed in cologne. And if they didn't the body odor was to much.
But hey if the funk don't keep the flies away at least it will kill them.

I luckily never had to deal with this driving for Uber do to normally its 4 or more needing a ride.

I'll take South Asian BO over Persian bathed in cologne any day of the week and Sunday!

In the Vietnam war, supposedly the Commies could smell the American soldiers in the jungles before they could see them due to cigarette smoke, and the lingering smell of American food on the soldiers' breath and body odor.

These things are to definitely be considered when and if I decide to switch to days...especially if picking people up right after lunch from the whole wide spectrum of ethnic food establishments in town.

Never noticed lunchtime crowd smells .... Unless they're carrying takeout or doggie bags. Worse is the occasional 5pm quitting time rides for some blue collar workers in plants or garages with no AC. Gag. Followed by strippers hosed down with a gallon of cheap perfume.

Used to do this pre-uber days when I smoked in the car. Until a morning when I found a huge flying cockroach inside buzzing around during morning rush hour.
