In seeing a lot of people's Uber statements each week, they don't pay out very much at all in incentives. Whether or not people would be on the road or not, or if their 'carrot' to keep people online is working, the cost of all these drivers being available is minimal (especially compared to the referral fees they pay)

In regards to hourly guarantees?
I just ran a report on miscellaneous items over the past 3 weeks, in that time $850 has been paid to all members
600 of that was for referral bonuses. The majority of people see the same thing 'you did not qualify for this incentive'

I don't know how many hours people actually spend on the road, but the majority of PP members seem to do it part time.
The full timers generally do about 1600 - 1750 in fares per week

For the first time this week,, I saw on two people's statements (paraphrasing) 'did not qualify for incentive because your rating was too low (4.5) 4.6 minimum'
I never new that rating was part of the deal.
