You're the kind of guy that's going to screw up a good thing for everyone else.
These recent incentives are great for drivers and if people start scamming the way you mentioned it'll hurt everyone.
I have no problem with people taking breaks in dead spots after hitting the requirements but the OP'so method sounds more like fraud than gaming the system.
 
Not cool at all. The company knows how much the typical trip to ohare is trust me. I had the navigation take me to 5t then 294 one day. That was because of traffic and rain. That route was 20 minutes faster but 20 miles longer. So it came out to 50 plus the other way would have been 30 plus. The passenger disputed the fare said it was unnecessary. They changed the fair. I turned around and diaputed the adjustment on the basis of me going the way the navigation suggested. They reversed it but now no matter how traffic is the customers will just wait in traffic.
When that happens to me I always check with the rider. Just ask them time or money. They almost always go with the route I wanted and it's CYA if they complain.
