Did the $30/hr guarantee this past weekend. drove 12hrs on Saturday 3pm-3am. Took a screenshot of 12hrs online, tracked it in Stride Drive, my ride history shows 12hrs worth of rides throughout the day; and the report/payout came back showing only 8.99 hours. Sent all of the above screenshots to Screwber. Got ignored by 3 CSR's between Monday and now. Latest CSR regurgitates the incorrect report showing 8.99hrs online and says b/c I was already paid they couldn't do anything. I'm out by about $150 by my math, and I'm just supposed to accept it? We'll see about that buddy...

Question: if you do an hourly guarantee and go over $30/hr in any given hour, are you supposed to get paid extra for that particular hour, or is the extra money spread out over the entire incentive period in which you're online?

Question: If I'm online outside Core LA, driving back to Core LA, is that considered "offline" for the $30/hr guarantee?

Question: If I do a pickup outside Core LA, is that money supposed to be added separately from the $30/hr guarantee, since I picked up outside Core LA?

thanks

answer: for these promos I drive the hourly guarantee till I hit it, then switch to select only or try to hide at my house (which doesn't always work) . this weekend was also the 30 ride/$150 promo which I did get. my Select car gets about 25-27mpg. haven't driven a non-promotion in a while, but when I did do a regular night, I drive Lyfter Select. Waiting for Select pings is boooooring af. 3 Series gets tips on Lyft with minimal effort.

Terms and conditions only refer to being "online" during those times and don't make a distinction between online in Core LA vs online outside of Core LA.

On top of it, I drove the next day, was online for 8 hours, got paid for 8 hours, and was stuck in Manhattan beach (outside Core LA) for about 40 min that day. I also started with a Select trip that took me up to Pasadena, outside of Core LA. So about an hour outside Core LA on Sunday, but I was paid for 8 hours online regardless.

Saturday the same, outside of Core for maybe 1.5hrs tops.

MC203 I've posted about this before... Friday and Saturday hourly guarantees are broken into 2 groups: 3pm - 12am and 12am - 3am. You can't get 18 rides and be done until 3 am. You need to go back out and get rides after midnight. The email says 3pm - 3am, but the app breaks it down to 2 different periods.

If you are like me and get finished really fast and just go home early while logged in then you won't get credit for the 2nd part (12am - 3am).
Where does it say this? It's not in the terms anywhere. My offer specifically shows 3pm-3am. Both in the SMS and email.

My stats were 22 rides total for Saturday between 3pm and 3am. 1 ride was a Select pickup out of Core. 2 rides were Pool (4 pickups) within Core. The least amount of rides over the 12hrs that I had was 19 core rides in 12 hours if the pool rides only counted as one.

Sorry but you're wrong.

3pm-3am is considered one 12-hour block. Doesn't matter when you complete your 18 rides, as long as it's between 3pm and 3am.

Also multiple pool rides count as more than one ride. Any time $1.65 is charged, it counts as a ride.
if that's the case then I had 21 rides over 12hrs - 1.75RPH.

kes1981 Playing devils advocate, if the period from 12am-3am is separate, then I made $59.69 outside of the guarantee. They said I was only online for 8.99 hours. 3pm to 12am online = 9 hours x $30/hr = $269.70. The math doesn't make sense at all. This was my payout for that day:

yeah that's where I'm headed next. 4 separate support lines going and no resolution since Monday.

going to have them review my hours for the $35/hr guarantee I did a few weeks back as well. I need to see this math in person.

sidenote, these are grounds for serious litigation. I can't imagine the amount of people out there missing out on cash over these guarantees.

  • "Guaranteed amounts are average hourly gross fares, based on hours online per incentive period, and include the Uber service fee. Booking Fee and tolls are not included in the guaranteed amount."

so in my example, 8.99 x $30/hr = $269.70.

$269.70 x 25% = $67.43

$269.70 - $67.43= $202.27

from 12am to 3am I made $59.69

$202.27+$59.69 = $261.96

I got paid $273.08.

$11.12 difference. The one Select ride I did out of core was for $28.80. So if that was separate from the guarantee, and the 12am-3am block was separate then I should've gotten paid $261.96 + 28.80 = $290.76

Bad maths is bad maths. no matter how you slice it, Uber screwing you one way or another

so kes1981 wins the prize...! check the screencap

un****ingbelievable.

and lmao @ $3.66. I guess that's the difference by their math. I did the calculation on the $90 wrong, so it was actually $67.50 I was fighting for. Less the invisible booking fee? would've been 63.50 (I did 4 rides after 12am). and I made $59.69 on my own after 12am.

so $59.69 + $3.66 = $63.35....

which equals $30/hr x 3 hours, less Ubers cut = $90-25%. $67.50 - $4 booking fee? = $63.50

still missing $0.15 ya shady fuchs

such bad business. I'm over it now. lesson learned.
