Absolutely. Not only are they screwing with legitimate drivers, it's also illegal.Yeah I figured but should I have reported him? Have a screenshot of his plates and car.

I would just let airport authorities know. Not confident Uber/Lyft would do anything viable.Cool will do. I guess go to help and feedback?
Ah ok well too late now not at airport but will do if it happens again. ThxI would just let airport authorities know. Not confident Uber/Lyft would do anything viable.
Unfortunately a common occurrence at airports, hotels, events, etc...So I picked a pax up at airport and when I got there they jumped in and told me "that Uber driver told us to cancel ride with u to ride with him" anyone get this before and if u did what did u do?
Lmao "old fashioned parking lot fight"Unfortunately a common occurrence at airports, hotels, events, etc...
Reporting is an option, but will usually lead to no action.
I would suggest public shaming or an old fashioned parking lot fight.
It's possible too that they're not even an Uber driver. Rider may've avoided a scam...or worse.Ah ok well too late now not at airport but will do if it happens again. Thx
You got the trip, don't worry about it, move on..after you put yourself out enough times in life, you will come to appreciate my policy of "See Something, Say Nothing"So I picked a pax up at airport and when I got there they jumped in and told me "that Uber driver told us to cancel ride with u to ride with him" anyone get this before and if u did what did u do?
A lot of dirtbags at LAX, too.Shitty drivers jackin' rides from exemplary drivers is nothing new.
Just last week at a NJ train station, I pull up to see my pax about to get into another car. Honked to get her attention and she got in my vehicle, no problem.
Story goes, as she was waiting for me, the other car pulled up and told her after hearing her plight, "oh don't go with Lyft they're a terrible company, take me instead." He had no trade dress and I'd bet a million bucks I don't have that he was looking to victimize her for whatever he could get out of her.
I gave her a stern rundown of do's/don'ts of ridesharing which ended in a pleasant ride and a $5 tip.
There's still too many scumbags out there.
Only illegal if they aren't licensed for livery.Absolutely. Not only are they screwing with legitimate drivers, it's also illegal.
When parking lots fight, everyone loses...Unfortunately a common occurrence at airports, hotels, events, etc...
