hertz should only bill you at the end of the contract....they only preauthorize each week

I should not have posted but the genie is. out last month I called hertz in pep boys and hertz corporate and my bank and yelled a lot the pending charge went away this month I do not know it is nerve racking first you make the money then you have to worry about hertz good grief but hey thanks

Disagree. Good to share/alert drivers.
Companies will sometimes overbill "accidentally on purpose" to meet projections & refund later.

This trend bears watching.

You can't deduct miles on a car you don't own. Only the rental cost.

I would rather ride a bike before leasing a car from Hertz to drive for Lyft. You not only have to pay an exorbitant rental fee, but you also receive.08 cents per mile less and no bonus. It’s a good scam for Lyft.
