Buh Bye techies. SF is gonna look like a ghost town now and a little closer to what it looked like circa 2007-2009. That was peak San Francisco. It all went downhill from there as far as culture. All of a sudden a mass migration of techies moved into the Mission district. I remember it like it was yesterday... Bunch of folks from the midwest and east coast treating YOU like you were the foreigner.

Another bright side, did you guys enjoy taking these no tipping pretentious techies to the airport the past several days? I CERTAINLY did (hAhA).

Well, Amazon's hiring. Maybe some of these freshly laid off techies can go get a job at an Amazon warehouse where they have to pee in bottles or maybe become a UPS package handler!
Or perhaps more competition, they might decide to drive for Uber. Sounds like less rides and more competition.
But from the sounds of it, it appears they may be heading back to their mommies basement where they can live rent free while drawing unemployment and eating hotpockets while dreaming of the days of yoga and paying $5k a month to live in shoebox sized luxury studio in SF.[/QUOTE]
