My Uber vehicle was in the shop the other day so I actually had to order an Uber when I had to go back and pick it up.
The girl I was driving with was explaining to me that she was picking up a fair who wanted to go to a remote location. Since she didn't feel comfortable taking him there alone she asked if he didn't mind her picking up a friend of hers to go with them.
Uber, as well as I'm sure most Rideshare companies, have a standing order that you cannot have a Ride Along with you. All empty seats must be available to passengers.
In the several years that I've been driving for Uber, I have never once considered such a thing. Rather, I have a two-way camera on my dashboard which looks both inside the cab and outside the car for Collision purposes.
What do you think?
