Anyone else get this admonishment in their inbox? The first time I got it, a rider had given me 4 stars for driving fast, so I basically ignored it. But, I got it again with no rider comments, which makes me think Uber is actually comparing my speed to the speed limit in their app. Not sure how serious they are.

The answer to the question is "hell, yes!" of course. But never recklessly.

I've gotten this, I think that is separate though from Rider Feedback. It's just the app, being an app. I also got flagged for "Violating a traffic law," in the rider feedback. It was probably at the NC State Football game, cuz an idiot Trooper gave me a hard time about not going, even though he was just standing there like a decoy, not blowing the whistle or using any hand signals (yeah, hard worker). I think it's just another way of saying "Dangerous Driving" or "Driving" on the Rider Feedback bullshit.

After 2.5 years of abstinence, doesn't it just feel great to deal with this BS again? Lol.

I think the rider feedback was a drunk couple that I drove out into rural Orange County after midnight. When you are tipsy, even the speed limit seems fast on those country roads. Hell, sometimes it even seems fast to me since it's so dark out there.

Just want to be sure Uber isn't going to actually do anything. I assume not.

It’s happened to just about everyone I know who drives. I think the app is monitoring our breaking, speeding, etc. if we do it for a sustained period on a trip, I think it will send us a love letter, letting us know that speeding and rushing isn’t good.
