You have to turn the app off to bring a surge back. If drivers are available then it doesn't surge.

Skipping works better from my experience, but you need drivers around to bounce the ping off. If there are no drivers then I would log off. I did both this am on X. Plus rides I'd take cause baller rates compared to x lol
