I saw a convenient store with a window display saying they will cashout checks located at mass ave. They will charge a big fee like 10-15%, i think.Johnnydiec said:

I have not received it either. I think I can cash the check based on the bank's name on the check

Right. For example if it is a bank of america check and you don't have a bank of america account, you still should be able to go to bank of america and request cash.

The back of the check said "positive ID required". kind of weird. it usually said sign to endorse. lol
the formula is the amount of trips you have completed + average duration/mileage per trip.
uber black driver tends to accept 100% of black/XXL trips included very long ones.
a full time uberx driver with 99% acceptance rate is expected to get a very big settlement check too

Today I went to the Check cashier in Field, Corner Dorchester, they took 10 minutes to cash for free if I agreed to open the debit card with them, I did it. She said that the last Asian Uber guy came to cash the settlement check for over 3k, and the cashier gave him a 40 percent off discount fee. But first, you have to ask for a discount; if you don't ask and they will charge the normal price.

Got mine. Only $882, but I'll take it. I'm a cherrypicker who used to average a high $/min/mile during that time, so I wasn't expecting anything crazy.

They don't pay us more money, they miscalculation a short amount, and now they correct it to the right amount
