I said you're wrong for stubbornly insisting that it's easy to do in spite of all the evidence showing that drivers aren't doing it.
every market is different and I'm sure the cost of living there is pretty damn low. Here's "assistants" bragging about making $1 per mile in 2022. Cabbies were making that much in 1979.
According to him $1 per mile is MORE than he was making before. SMH.
It's about average to slightly above.every market is different and I'm sure the cost of living there is pretty damn low.
Rude ass shill talk is the best you have to offer to this discussion? Go **** off.bottom line is if it's not good enough for you, move on and do something else and stop your *****ing
And their CPM?Cabbies were making that much in 1979.
YTD I'm grossing average of $1.27 per mile driven (from my door back to my door).i may have it tommorow- no rides today, for me being a poor mpg xl. it will help me take rides i will never take otherwise..i am diamond pro...its not worth it for most guys. i play a short trap game. as i do other platforms. 500 miles or less each week, the $5 rides help me hit my bonus levels fast,,,
funny whats nats 121 says..haha $1 a mile and the j/o is happy..not me
If that's odometer miles, then yes that is very good. 👍YTD I'm grossing average of $1.27 per mile driven (from my door back to my door).
Yes it is. It's gross though not net. Net is around $1.02/mile currently. If that's odometer miles, then yes that is very good. 👍
Whats your mileage cost a year? Maintenance, gas, cleaning, tax... Everything.YTD I'm grossing average of $1.27 per mile driven (from my door back to my door).
It is true that one should not take trips that pay less than $1 per mile, but hopefully with bonuses, quests, surge, etc, you can get more than that. That's the game, in a nutshell. Take profitable trips. Don't take unprofitable trips.
Before anyone responds, yes, I know it's harder in some markets if your pay rate is lower or your promotions suck, or both. Not saying this is possible for everyone in all areas. If it's not possible in your area, you either have to a) lower expectations or b) do something else, or c) find a way to improve your earnings (usually involves what hours you work and what locations you post up at)
Again, I know it's not possible for everyone to do well. Some markets are really saturated. But that's the game.
Cost of doing business as Uber is more like .62 cents a mile for vehicle expenses/replacement (per IRS and others) + .10 cents a mile for other things (insurance, phone, taxes) or about .70 cents a mile depending upon what Joe Biden is doing to the economy next. 😄Whats your mileage cost a year? Maintenance, gas, cleaning, tax... Everything.
Say it $.25 for easy math.
How much do you expect per hour for your time?
Hopefully you know some sorta of idea how many miles in an hour you average in an hour over a years time.
So say 50¢ a mile for 30 miles in an hour.
Thats $15.00 an hour outside of all expenses . Or 50¢ a mile.
So 25¢ + 50¢ would be min 75¢.
I guess that would be one way of figuring it out for the long run as far as averages. That's where the $1 a mile comes in for me and I guess for this guy.
Toyota Sienna Hybrid... actually 38mpg on average.@FerengiBob what hybrid minivan do you have that gets 40mpg? That's awesome!
Also, decreasing one's CPM is almost always possible. I sense that most complaints about profitability originate with those who either have the wrong vehicle, or wrong maintenance, or wrong driving habits/style and higher than necessary CPM.If it's not possible in your area, you either have to a) lower expectations or b) do something else, or c) find a way to improve your earnings (usually involves what hours you work and what locations you post up at)
