nah uber needs to remove timer just makes apps slower and it not the phone. Ola needs to remove more features so it remains faster and goes faster. It should just auto accept pings and bring up navigation  that be the bomb. Ola app is a lot faster than uber app and it that way because it only has what it needs to have not all the other BS overloaded interface junk that doesn't do anything.

george manousaridis & myself knows that just doing the job you earn more

You simply do not earn more for canceling jobs than accepting it. You drove to the location waited for 5 minutes and now you are driving dead to the next rider.. All for 5-8 bucks. That does not make you ahead it actually makes you a loser.

As in you just wasted 15-20 minutes for 5-8 bucks and probably spent 2-3 dollars on fuel so guess what now? That now 2-5 bucks for canceling :p:oops: Once people understand jobs cancel = time lost and money loss it not going to do anything. But people just see the 5-8 bucks and think it profit :D I guess after cost you can now buy yourself a cheeseburger or 2 buck coffee.

That the real economics but of course you have to cancel if no one is coming out and try to minimize the time/fuel wasted and gtfo of there. But if the rider "reaches out" and say can you please wait 2 minutes... It worth waiting for ;) Trust me. You come out ahead every single time.

What's the wait time for a cancel fee if client not there on ola app? 5 or 8 mins?

five minutes after you click customer located which will start the timer but i've just rocked up and activated the location proximity as well which triggers the timer. Anything after five minutes i've always gotten the fee i try to wait a minute more to give them some kind of opportunity since the fare is a lot better than standard uber fare.

on the rider app they can follow the gps to where the car location is within 5 meter accuracy. Which i did test out as the rider wasn't at the pick up location so i parked about 30 meters away in the parking lot and thought i'll have a quick 5 minute nap or something. I see the rider crossing the road looking at his phone and moving towards my car.

So if someone knows how to find something on the gps they can find you anywhere... At least on Ola. It a pretty neat tracking feature and highly accurate for the rider they just look at the phone and know exactly where their driver is located. I don't have problems with riders been able to find me like i do on Uber on a lot of occasions. It a good development for them.
