I want the urinator to pay for professional cleaning.....UberX sounds like a perfectly logical place to take a pee. Just like any other cheap ride.
Seriously tho, joking aside, she probably had some kind of urinary problem. Just the same with any bodily fluid, vacuum first, then rinse with some water and vacuum that up, then blot with upholstery cleaner / shampoo and a towel. Problem solved.
Still, I want the revenge factor.....Yeah it sucks. Also I don't know if you knew that a backseat snaps right out. You just push it backwards towards the seat back and it pops out. Then its just a flimsy cushion you can remove and wash it however you want, no professionals required. If you do it right the smell will be gone after a few days unless she was a really really dirty person.
The only logical answer to that, is to find the lady that peed in your car and then go pee in her car, or even all over the outside if that's all you can do.Still, I want the revenge factor.....
I know where they are staying, but I don't like police........The only logical answer to that, is to find the lady that peed in your car and then go pee in her car, or even all over the outside if that's all you can do.
Yeah I know, joking of course...I know where they are staying, but I don't like police........
Pee on someone in CA and you will be registering as a sex offender for the rest of your life.
I hear you talking.....Yeah I know, joking of course...
But, while I can't say I've had exactly the same experience as you, I've had similar, and can only tell you that you can expect it. In this business you trash your car, or other people do rather, however you want to say it. Clean your seats and scotchgard them. You're doubling as your own maintenance crew when you use your own car. If you can conquer this then you'll be better prepared for the next "mishap".
Uber does not pay for lost time. They will not be happy when the get the credit card charge from Uber for the seat cleaning I will have done in the AM.
I did use my shop vac and carpet cleaner to get as much as I could out.
I couldn't let a pee puddle dry in the foam of my back seat.
Tomorrow I will find an auto detailer that can fit me in on an emergency basis.
Does anyone know if Uber charges them for lost hours? I am hoping, but not expecting much more than recovering the cost of the seat cleaning.
Its incalcuable anyways, if that's even a word. From any legal standpoint, you only get what it takes to correct a previous wrongdoing, nothing more.Uber does not pay for lost time.
I understand from other posts......Uber does not pay for lost time.
I would like money, but we all know that is not happening.Yeah well... Unrelated, but some lady here last weekend ran her car over a sidewalk, a tourist, then a palm tree and a parked car before hitting a city trolley and decapitating the tourist and is still free today with a drivers license. So there is no justice in this world.
I wouldn't be so worried about some pee. Slightly agitated at least. I do hope you get paid for it tho. You might deserve $500 although only get 100-200, cut your losses and call it a day.
