What a brought for governor..
That would be Minnesota Democrat Governor Tim Walz.
Did I mention he was a Democrat???
Because low-information voters know that Democrats “care about the little people!”

In all seriousness, it was a flawed & stupid bill. The point I’m making is in regards to all the stupid low-information voters who believe that Democrats give a shit and are somehow willing, able, and capable of saving “the little people!”

OK, but it has happened in New York and also in Seattle.

Explain to us what's "flawed and stupid" about the bill.

It's flawed because it's too wimpy. Important reforms were stripped from the original bill.

As far as saving the "little people" is concerned, most Republicans are opposed to any bills that regulate pay and working conditions of gig workers.

Because most Republicans are honest enough to know you can’t legislate hopeless idiots into prosperity, and most Democrats are devious enough to know the hopeless idiots will vote again & again for a lying Democrat who tells them otherwise. :geek:
Tim Walz is a stinking pile of garbage. I hope he gets found out for taking Uber's money & gets Bubba for a cellie.
I just heard on the radio that he's commissioned an independent study to try to come up with better terms. I guess he took their threat to leave seriously.

"Better terms" means LOWER pay rates than the ones that were in the bill.

The rates of $1.45 per mile / $0.34 per minute in Metro St.Paul and $1.25 per mile / $0.34 in the rest of the state are tolerable but far from spectacular.

But even the modest rates above were too much for poor lil Uber.

I read some of the gov's veto statement and it's truly sickening.

Meanwhile, to increase their profits, Uber continues to raise fares on riders ... something they consider unconscionable if done to benefit drivers.

We all need to remember Governor Walz at voting time.
