Thanks. Cop said its no going to my record and I did not know what expected on this hearing .Don't know much about the issue, but I myself would be bracing for a $100 fine. The city is thirsty, sorry to hear you got hit by that
That's good to hear that its not going on your record even though it would be considered a moving offense. Hopefully no fine but I kind of expect like $70 / $75 parking ticket worthThanks . Cop said is no going to my record and I did not know what expected on this hearing .
I see plenty of drivers doing that quick U turn, I have myself but have been deciding to look around a good bit and make that decision if not just going around a block or two to do it. But good to knowNo U-turns within 100 feet of an intersection (roughly 4 city lots), unless there's a sign that it's ok.
Didn't know such a thing existed until a cop yelled at me for making a U-turn in front of him at the UIC Arena (no ticket, they were on traffic babysitting duty).

Best OP can hope for is that the cop who wrote the citation doesn't show up to the court date.
Thank you for this!! There have been a couple times i have second guessed myself and nice to know I can double check just in case!I make it a weekly habit to check the status of any parking/red light/automated speed tickets. Just in case it gets "lost in the mail".hmmmmmpf

I wonder if the prosecutor already knew if the cop(s) on the docket would/wouldn't show up that day.I went to 400 w superior on my scheduled court date. Filled out some paperwork before entering the room. Once I entered the room, I met with a prosecutor. He gave me a deal...
Does it make you look guilty if your looking yourself up even if theres nothing to find? I'm debating looking myself up haha because I sometimes zone out and break the speed in a speed zone without really thinkingI make it a weekly habit to check the status of any parking/red light/automated speed tickets. I hear you Zap. Does anyone know if there is a similar lookup for suburban violations? The fines double after 60 days (I think) and it's really a PITA when you not only get cited, but get a double whammy because you never saw the original citation.I make it a weekly habit to check the status of any parking/red light/automated speed tickets. The suburbs from which I have gotten red light tickets all used https://payonlineticket.com/ - you can search there.I hear you Zap. With all these new headlights and flashing leds on stores I keep thinking I've ran a red.I hear you Zap. Does anyone know if there is a similar lookup for suburban violations? Thanks for this. I've gotten flashed maybe 40 or 50 times since I started driving and wondered. Either it's because my front plate is damaged and not readable, or they're not capable of reading specialty plates? As long as I don't get sniped out of the blue.I make it a weekly habit to check the status of any parking/red light/automated speed tickets. Just in case it gets "lost in the mail".hmmmmmpf

I think that you get flashed in a school zone during the school day if you're >27mph regardless. Then someone at Bandits R Us looks at the video to see if there was a non-adult in the frame. Thanks for this. I've gotten flashed maybe 40 or 50 times since I started driving and wondered. .
No. School zones are the only signs I respect because I don't trust modern parents to teach their kids common sense. You want me to slow to 25mph on Irving Park or Humboldt Park for no damned reason? We got a fundamental problem.I think that you get flashed in a school zone during the school day if you're >27mph regardless. Thank you for answer ! I was thinking to hire the lawyer . But I see it's not big deal. I was thinking the same why he did not gave me ticket to pay.I got one of those administrative notice of ordinance violation BS as a livery driver.
It was for a parking in a no parking zone in front of a northwestern hospital. Me and a couple taxis were busted.
I went to 400 w superior on my scheduled court date. Filled out some paperwork before entering the room. Once I enetered the room, I met with a prosecutor. He gave me a deal.. either 75 or 100. I took the deal, met with the judge, said that I accept the plea and then went and paid the fine..
Pretty painless ordeal. I still don't get it why I wasn't issued a regular parking tickets and be done with it. I guess when you're a commercial driver, different rules apply to you.
It's a simple public records search BUT, if you want to search anonymously, consider using Tor.Does it make you look guilty if your looking yourself up even if theres nothing to find?
