This has been a good forum, I've liked talking shop with other drivers over the past year. I've learned alot, eventually got over my reticence to shuffle.
But now that I'm not driving, we are just trading notes about the economy, waiting for unemployment, and wondering what comes next. Because we aren't talking about passengers, we don't have any driving stories to tell, things are just political. Its not a productive way to spend time.
I had actually planned to stop driving when things slowed down in the summer. So basically, my spring earning potential was wiped out and some of that may be replaced with UE+600. There really isn't any more to say about that.
Still unknown how long it will take for the economy to rebound, but I'm planning to get a traditional job as soon as possible.
So I wish you all luck, whether you decide to keep driving or do something else. I'm going to log out at least for three months so I can focus on getting something else, maybe check back in the summer if my job search hits a wall. I just need to move on from rideshare and that includes leaving up.net behind. No I didn't die, nothing bad happened, I just need to move on.
Goodbye and good luck!
