Got my first $200 (with tip) ride today! Best part about it there was no pax in the car during the whole trip! Got a ping with a 45+min ride and 1.2 surge to go to a truck parts store in bloomington. Yes please. "Rider" called said to pick up part and being it to a person in eau claire wi. A little hesitant but thought ok...sweetened the deal with being able to keep app on while i drove back to msp. When i got to drop off location i asked rider if they would be ok with ending the ride and they tip 100 instead for the deadheading back (and that way uber gets less and i get more) they agreed.

Wonder if you're insured for delivering goods, instead of passengers. I did this once last summer too. Kind of weird. What if you damage the item while handling it? I had something fragile, and was not particularly comfortable with it. Not a $200 trip either...

Ya i thought about that too..i had the parts guy examine it to make sure it was all good and then i ng wrapped it in a blanket and set it on my back seat

Nice... that is a long one. I had my own personal longest trip tonight too.. 27 miles w/ a $15 tip.. so $40.48 total. I appreciated it.. and had a great conversation. Nearly $30 hours per hour tonight with a total of 4 hours online. Mostly excellent people tonight.. one really needs to enjoy people to like Ubering.

Nice one Td. I think Lyft caps tips at $50, though I have not tested it.

Too funny. Uptown to downtown St. Paul this morning at 200% PT. Had to do a big detour due to 94 eastbound being closed. Thought for sure that this would be my first ride where Lyft is negative. They didn't flat rate. Sheesh.
