Has anyone else had this happen?

I drove 4.5 hours on Sunday. One $10 delivery. Thanks for the $39 tip, GH.

Today I got caught on something that's happened to me 7-8 times before: I have 5-6hrs blocked, and within 5 minutes of signing in I get a <$5 order. Of course I decline, but now my minimum is shot to hell. Haven't had an offer since. I think they do this when it's slow, knowing it will save them from playing minimum.

Last Sunday it worked because the $10 order came 25 minutes before my backs ended, so I knew it was going to be a $49 delivery. I would have done it if it was $3, knowing it would pay $49.

When I drove for them, it would happen a lot. One extreme or the other. Problem with my area is, that $10 order at the end of the block might take 1.5 hours round trip (at least) and 70 total miles. Now where I live I did t have to worry about snow or really bad weather, but I would hate to get off the couch to do all the nonsense

5:00-7:00. Two trips (besides the $4 one I declined) last one was a 10 mile $14 Roxberry Smoothie.

To a lady that was obviously sick as a dog.

The longer this C19 goes on, the higher percentage of deliveries are going to be "self-quarantine" deliveries. I think I'm done for the near future.

I think in the near future that the delivery services will MAKE the driver leave the food in a safe place. Lawsuit fodder.

Abso-freakin-lutely. When I have been close to earning the minimum, they would suddenly send me a $3.xx order to Taco Bell way across town, 5 minutes before closing time.

I've tried to do all the offers they send me on slow days, just to earn the minimum, and they would still average it out so they didn't owe it to me. Sometimes it means they send a really nice one at the end of your last block, a large amount so it happens to be just enough to cover the remaining difference on that minimum guarantee.

One time when I got the minimum guarantee contribution, it was only about $3, and the mileage I racked up taking the few pings they sent me made it one of my least profitable days ever.
