Almost at $3 a gallon... Hope Uber and Lyft change the rates to compansate.
Also Uber and Lyft should pay for our gas...

Sure, if you follow this. Otherwise lower rates. They keep cutting incentives.Almost at $3 a gallon... Hope Uber and Lyft change the rates to compansate.

Drivers can't unionize, but they can have a guild. The minute drivers strike, the immigrants from like Somalia, Africa and Hatians would immediately jump on the surge.
The only reason I can see an effective strike, would be if drivers unionize and that's probably really bad.
Just my two cents!
Drivers have to be organized and you can call it anything you want- union, guild, association... Till then we are doomed to produce only posts here and weeping elsewhere.Drivers can't unionize, but they can have a guild.
ErkanAZ is working on it. The problem is, he's been working on it for 2 years with no end in sight.Drivers have to be organized and you can call it anything you want- union, guild, association... Till then we are doomed to produce only posts here weeping elsewhere.
Traditional way to speed things up is to invite Mafia, as it happened with all unions.ErkanAZ is working on it. The problem is, he's been working on it for 2 years with no end in sight.
You do realize how irrelevant the price of gas is for drivers. What matters is fuel efficiency. A change in gas prices from $2.50 to $3.50 is a big jump. A change in fuel efficiency at same rate 25 to 35 miles per gallon makes an enormous difference. And we can control miles per gallon while we have little say over fuel prices. It's important you know the key metrics if you want to be most profitable.Almost at $3 a gallon... Hope Uber and Lyft change the rates to compansate.

John, have you ever thought how much gas pedicabs use? 0. It's enormous difference from 35 mpg. May be you should trade in your Prius and buy an environmentally friendly pediwhatever? The good ole days .......One of the things i miss from uber was there boost zones those guaranteed surges areas depending on what time of day. I like the fact that boost zones were the highest around graveyard hours. Uber was so perfect back then very smart app designers.
I fill my car up once every 3 days when I'm driving. That being said, a full tank now costs me $43 to $45 vs $35 (before gas prices went up). For me, that's like losing out on a couple Walmart sandwiches every few days. No buenoYou do realize how irrelevant the price of gas is for drivers. What matters is fuel efficiency. Plz elaborate further...You do realize how irrelevant the price of gas is for drivers. What matters is fuel efficiency. A change in gas prices from $2.50 to $3.50 is a big jump. You might have to go Market Basket subs instead.I fill my car up once every 3 days when I'm driving. That being said, a full tank now costs me $43 to $45 vs $35 (before gas prices went up). For me, that's like losing out on a couple Walmart sandwiches every few days. No bueno
I think the type of car you drive is much more important than the price of gas. A hybrid can save you a lot more per week than any gas increase can cost you. If you're going to put significant hours into Uber you should invest in the proper car.Plz elaborate further...
Sounds like you are insinuating people should be able to buy a hybrid vehicle on a whim, in order to combat rising gas prices.
What? Gas prices are irrelevant but fuel efficiency matters? This is contradictory. You do realize how irrelevant the price of gas is for drivers. What matters is fuel efficiency.
