Is it around 10% of earnings? 15%? 20%? I've kept most of my gas receipts, but don't feel like adding them all up. Y'all think I can expense 20% of earnings for gas?

You should know your own. Everybody has different cars and different strategies. What is your average earning per week. Then how much do you pay for gas per week. Let’s say you make $1500/week and fill $150 gas/week. Then it is 10%.

i drive prius, avg if i make around 140-180 it cost me no more than half the tank which cost me around 8-10 bucks with chevron gas price 3.30

Last year I pay gas $15 a day and average earning was around $300 driving prius. Rarely getting out of the city.
