Anybody been to long beach recently? How much at the G&M with the 24/7 restrooms on 7th street?

That's generally the cheapest (real, non-E85) fuel in the county, like 20 cents better than Sams/Costco

Did you known California is trying to switch from gas tax to milage tax? Only we know they will never drop the gas tax when they implement the milage tax.

Yes. Alot of places are,as alternate fuels develop.
I have an interest in compressed natural gas. If it would not take up trunk space in my car.
If I had a van or SUV I Would already be using it. There is s fueling station open 24 hours across from airport where I work. Several limosines burn it. I prefer dual fuel capabilities.
I could run a small compressor at my home and compress and store fuel right off of my stove line, then have access to refills in the field as I work.

Uber answer to increasing gas costs:

We want to assure you that we closely and regularly monitor the impact of our rates on your earnings. Our goal is to make you busier and make your time online more valuable so that you can make more in the long run.
We also understand your concern. One way to help you with your gas finances, we suggest that you take advantage of our Driver Rewards, such as the Fuel Card. The Fuel Card is a charge card which can be used at gas stations to charge up to $200 per week. When using it, partners will receive anywhere from 3¢ to 15¢ per gallon discounts on gas, depending on the gas station. All charges will be deducted directly from the partner's weekly earnings statement, simplifying the payment process. For additional information on Fuel Card, please visit this link.

Your feedback is very valuable to us as we seek ways to improve your experience. We appreciate this opportunity to hear how you feel and we are sharing this feedback with Uber's leadership team.

If there's anything else I can do for you, please don't hesitate to contact us.

When I was 16 and would go out to put gas in my mom's car, the gas attendant at Arco on Grand/Edinger would hook it up with a few bucks. This was back in late 90s. It was cool at first but I grew up in the hood and could spot a creep, dude became Mr. Creeper after a few times of hooking it up, i hope no young foolish boys fell for his pray... I never went back. We were going to jump him but he left us alone.

Anyways sometimes you get what you pay for.

And they should. Or do you think that an all electric car should not have to help pay for the road upon which it travels?
I think california needs to learn to stop building 68BILLION dollar trains from no where to no where. California charged me $750 in registration fees this year, Plus gas tax, a milage tax will affect the poor more, they are more likely to drive fuel efficient cars, more likely to commute longer to work, more likely to take road trips on vaction and for recreation instead of flying.

Furthermore if california would use the gas tax for the roads we could be driving on the best roads in the world, but they dont, they waste the freaking money!

G & M and USA Gas in LBC @ $2.59.
https://www.gasbuddy.com/
Or App.
USA Gas is dodgy and knocks a bit
G&M doesn't

Also, G&M / Chevron have a SEPARATE clearly labelled line of G&M FlexFuel...which instills some confidence that they aren't cheating trying to sell E85 thru the regular pump
