Full cup of mocha, upside down on back seat
I've always wondered about small claims cases like this. Showing up after being served with the summons and complaint and trying to tell the court that Uber's entire responsibility was to simply pay for cleaning and none of the time lost isn't going to fly. The court would consider the lost pay due to time down if there are consistent records that show obvious disruption. With that said, a lot of defendants don't even bother to show up. Perhaps this woman would have but perhaps not. If not, judgment for the plaintiff. In all seriousness since uber probably only paid $20 for the cleanup could we demand riders info?
If a rider did this it costs more than Ubers cleaning fee. And I would like to hold the person responsible by making them pay in small claims court?
The lady probably didn't even say she was sorry.
These people need to be held accountable as Ubers fee is not what it costs to actually clean it.
Sorry for the mess. Hope you got the stank out
I have used small claims court a lot. It pays off and most of the judgements in my favor, which is all of them, were by default.I've always wondered about small claims cases like this.
