Many Uber drivers in Australia are now eligible for fuel discounts at 450 Caltex service stations across Australia. See https://www.uber.com/en-AU/drive/resources/momentum-caltex/.
Not all drivers are eligible for these discounts at this stage. This seems to be another example of a randomised controlled trial.
The discounts are provided through the Momentum program. Those at the bronze level receive a discount of 4 cents a litre; silver 5 cents a litre; gold 6 cents a litre; and platinum 8 cents a litre.
The discounts are available on regular, diesel and Vortex premium fuels.
You can obtain the discounts up to two times a day.
The Caltex service station next to Costco already matches Costco's fuel prices while the Costco fuel station is open. If the Uber discounts are available there, drivers will have access to very competitively priced fuel.
The Caltex service station next to to the Vibe Hotel at the airport also already has low prices.
Do any Canberra drivers already have access to these discounts? I don't yet.
