I have been waiting a few weeks now on Uber for $209 in fraudulent charges I disputed with them. They keep insisting that I am responsible and that "liability lies with the drivers" - however I have pointed out repeatedly that MasterCard has a policy on this that protects us. I have a sneaking suspicion that Uber is just bullying drivers into eating the charges. I am going to wait the 30 days for them to complete their investigation and then file suit against them. Right now I am thinking of small claims, but if other drivers want to join, then we could go into federal court.
