Just got screwed helping a mom with small baby load luggage in my truck. Carried bags from across the street and helped get Skycap at LAX. Gave me the ole...I’ll tip in the app.

Had two other people with lots of heavy bags not leave a tip either. These assholes chat you up, ask all kinds of questions. You can be as polite and friendly as possible...it doesn’t matter. They get out the truck only to pause at going in their pockets and just give a smile.

I promise I am not helping anybody else with bags again. I don’t give a fuse about the random tip here and there. I’ll simply open my trunk and monitor their loading unloading.

The biggest rip was when I had a regular vehicle and this couple basically loaded the entire car with bags. I loaded and unloaded and didn’t get one red cent.

F them!

Let me also add that I get tips from regular riders. For some reason airport passengers think it’s included...or pretend that way.

I’m making out ok, but quickly becoming disgruntled. I’m researching day and night on ways not to depend on the bs. Tired of it all. Just get the f in and don’t say nothing to me. That’s my new mindset.

Dude ordered a Lyft Line at SFO and had enough luggage to fill the trunk and the seats. Told him he needed to order Plus. Got the $5 and moved on to to the next Lyner.
Had a Lyft Classic pax at International Terminal fill the entire trunk, still looking for room. "Stack it on your lap and on the floor." Took 5 or 10 minutes to unload at the final destination, no idea what was in all of the bags.

Since tipping was implemented in the Uber app, I've personally kept track of the number of times a pax has given me the line, "I'll tip you in app".

Out of the 14 times I've been told that, only ONCE did the pax actually do it. So 13/14 were lying scumbags.

I now associate the "I'll tip you in app" phrase with knowing I won't get one.
