So much fail.
That is absolutely not true. Although they may wear a vest they are not required to, or have ANY documentation, at least in the USA. Please don't spread false information. All service dogs have a vest and ID to identify them as certified service animals.
Now that I have a clarification..........................No No! I am asking about How often you guys had to ride Service Dogs and how they behave and how big they are!! any experience???
I would absolutely refuse despite the fact it's a service dog, sorry. What if you are legitimately allergic? Are you supposed to dismiss your own health for the sake of discrimination?Service dogs are not pets they are specialy trained to assit people and are protected and legally allowed anywhere with their owner. If you refuse to transport someone with a service dog you are opening your self to a discrimnation suit and de-activation from Uber.
Anyways service dogs are highly trained and will not act like normal pets.
According to the thread about service animals, their need for the service animal trumps your allergies.I would absolutely refuse despite the fact it's a service dog, sorry. What if you are legitimately allergic? Are you supposed to dismiss your own health for the sake of discrimination?
Uber x driverPretty soon they won't need us to drive them anywhere. They'll have it covered.
In New Zealand, the SPCA is training dogs to drive cars.
Just a guess, but at the outset they'll probably only be driving Uber X at first.
Later, as the process is refined I'd imagine at some point they'll handle most of
the driver demand in the public transportation sector. Man's best friend.
I had one barking directions in my ear the whole ride !No No! I am asking about How often you guys had to ride Service Dogs and how they behave and how big they are!! any experience???
I'm reading this with Latka from Taxi voice running through my head.
There's a whole thread about service animals on the site. What Kawiz said is right. Decline a service animal are you are up a certain creek without a paddle.
If I read this right, you're borrowing someone else's car to do Uber? I pray to (insert appropriate deity here) that you or her have the right insurance...
I would ask is that allergy is mentioned in your medical report? Could be you are not a suitable applicant as a driver.I would absolutely refuse despite the fact it's a service dog, sorry.
