I got background checked, and even though there's nothing new this year, minus a seatbelt ticket and a speeding ticket if less than 10 over, I'm on hold while they 'determine my access to the uber platform'. As a wise comedian once said, "here's your sign!"

In-app support said I'm no longer eligible to drive or deliver, but they told me that the same day the check was completed. Uber gave a 3-5 business day time frame for the review, and I am not deactivated on the app as of today.

Weird thing is for some reason all the support people are calling me Derrick now, and that's not my name😂🤣😂

I'm not to hopeful I'll drive again. Only thing that ticks me off was I was 200 rides away from 10k, and I wanted to leave on my terms, not theirs.

Best of luck to all of you guys!

Looks like you got the axe when those two tickets hit your record, I'm doubtful that you'll continue driving.

My guess is that you had other tickets/incidents in the last 4-5 years on your record?

My guess is you had one other ticket on your record in the past 3 years so these two pushed you over the limit allowed of 2. If that's the case you'll be deactivated until one falls off.

But you're saying you're still able to go online and take rides?

You don't get off that easy.

Your not the first who unconsciously got tickets to satisfy their secret desire to do something more rewarding than driving.for these slavery apps.

The realization will set in later that there was a initial reason why you started driving. A reason that is still valid and now headed to your umpteenth job interview only to hear the words "we'll call you" knowing all too well it's a lie. A lie you've heard long ago many times that drove you to seek independence and freedom of the open road and meeting of new and different people under the glorious leadership of Lord Ubers smartphone app.

So as you embark on your quest of homelessness and despair, waiting for years until your again approved by insurance companies to drive again and truly enjoy all the fruits of your labor, keep in mind it is us, the faithful, that will be enjoying the warmth, company and rewards for assisting our fellow paxen in their destination needs.

We will leap years ahead of you, learning so much more, that you could never catch up. All because you couldn't see what your subconscious was trying to do to you behind your back.

Mark my words, you can go offline, even get deactivated, anytime you like, but you can never, ever, leave. 😁
