Somebody forgot his iPhone in my car.
That happen three days ago.
Does the driver receive any kind of compensation or fare after returning the item??

Yes, 15$. Contact Uber letting them know your rider forgot his item in your car, they will ask about the time , date , what item and his first name if you have that... If he calls or contacts Uber regarding his lost item...

Idk if Lyft has a returning lost items fee but uber will give you $15. What I usually do is drop them at the Dorchester hub.

Good to know. If a lyft pax leaves anything behind and doesn't offer a cash reward I'll bring the item to the lyft office whenever I can get a chance or the pax comes to me lol.

Lyft sent me a message from a Pax about them leaving a phone in my car. I remember the Pax and his partner were sleeping drunk in my car that night, and they were my last ride. After the text the next morning I noticed the phone and went and returned since it was only 15 mins away. Pax gave me a $20 for returning it so that was good.


Later that day another lyft automated message about the phone. So I write back, " I dropped off the phone to the Pax earlier in the day. Do I get compensated by any chance?" They write back, "thank you from lyft blah blah blah. And we will add on $15 on your next pay statement." So thats that with lyft lol.
