Raleigh was busy Saturday night with a 2-3x surge that lasted at least an hour before midnight after the concert at redhat let out. Durham was busy due to the gay pride parade after party's

I picked up a $97 fare (3.0 surge) from Red Hat to Chapel Hill..... I'm sure they one starred me but it was worth it.....
My jaw dropped when I saw a 3+ surge in downtown AND north Raleigh AND Garner after I made the Chapel Hill drop 36 minutes later.
Also I doubled my all time completions of 3.0+ surges by getting 3 of them Saturday night. Took my 1000th pick up too. If it weren't for a 1AM scramble from Chapel Hill back to Raleigh (live east of Raleigh so I would've had to return anyway.) I would've nearly grossed $2/mile. Sweet night!

Glad to see you all did well too, I was amazed, Saturday night I could do no wrong. Cleared $330 between 8PM and 4AM, just driving around Raleigh. Between the rain, drunk people, a break up couple and a few pissy pax, I just assumed my ratings would be crap. Nope, perfect 5.0. Even the drug dealer I picked up didn't one star me when I told him he needed to get someone else as I dropped him off at his second stop. It was a magic night, reminded me of what driving was like last May.

I do drive select but roughly 3/4 of that was X on surge (and one X not on surge that I wish I hadn't taken). Things were just breaking my way that night. I would drop someone off and get just outside of the other cars waiting in the area as I was going back to my spot and bam, I'd get another call. I even had someone go out to east Raleigh and 1 minute after I dropped them off got another call nearby to head down town. I repeatedly rejected select calls that were 12 and 15 minutes away and getting calls closer to home, it was one of those lucky nights we get every once in a while to keep us in the game I suppose. This is the same guy who did $40 all of last week

Same here I caught a 2+ surge from red hat concert to durham for 130. Ended up with pain all over my seats and seat belts from the girls that were filled with paint from the concert. So $200 cleaning fee on top of it. Got stuck in durham and missed the 3x hour surge in Raleigh but overall 300 night.
