I noticed that...as soon as I zoom in I see it...but then what's up with Surge 1x-5x on the bottom of the screen with no surge areas?

The proper zoom is stop when and if it pops up. Coming on here doesn't get it fixed. Please send an email to [email protected] with a screen shot saying its fished up. Thank You for backing me. I sent mine this weekend.

Also I hear placing the phone on a big rock near Hobby may work. It works for pings why not surge boxes.

This is Uber taking a crack at behavior modification. The constant barrage of texts claiming there is a huge demand or will be (carrot for the horse) then this thing with the map and banner (anticipation, to get you intrigued). I like the old map better where I didn't have to play magnifying glass with the screen. Ridiculous!
I'm convinced that's what they are doing. Putting up the yellow, then the orange just to see who they can move, and what is needed to move more. Most of these outlying surge areas are bullshit anyway. RC and I sat in the middle of a 3x surge for over half an hour with nothing coming in. Uber is jacking with us, just like always.
My area rarely surges but today and Friday I had back to back requests from home. When it is supposedly surging, I like others don't see any requests. Yellow is a joke and not motivating at all. What does that even mean?!?
The extra demand in rainy weather is not worth getting mud tracked on my mats. I put a towel in the back seat today so please wipe your feet on it!
Even if I think about heading into town, the surge is gone before I get to the freeway (within 10 minutes) and I get a ping anyway.
