Thanks for the update sounds like a very detailed explanation on they're part...geesh we get a settlement offer than it's 3-4 months after we finally get the funds..best case scenario June/July 2023..I started my individual litigation with Lyft back in early 2021..so it's approaching 2 years..but patience is the key because you want to get all that is owed to you...thx

Thanks for the info bro I will continue to post any update regarding any settlement offer..I won't go into details of the offer that's confidential...payment amount etc
My fear is we're gonna get a check for $5.00 at the end of all this after being jerked around by Potter and Uber and Lyft for years.

So at the very beginning of the litigation process involving Lyft and Uber vs Potter and handy.. Potter and handy created a wage calculator for us..this wage calculator calculates what Uber and Lyft owes us..online mileage.. overtime.. mandatory lunch breaks etc.. remember we have always been employees..for instance my wage calculator says I'm owed 250K..will I get that much?..possible but not probable meaning probably won't but I'm thinking I will get 40-50% of that 250K..I am optimistic..this 5 dollar settlement you talk about I highly doubt..it depends on your wage calculation online miles etc..there is a list of things that factor in on your potential settlement amount.. litigation takes time..sure Uber and Lyft will stall lowball offers..look how they have been treating us?..over the years..thru the horrible pandemic not protecting us against violent riders..stealing of our tips..making below minimum wage..wage theft..you think they wanna give us what they truly owe us?..I was represented by liss Riordan..I got 3k..it should've been easily 20-30K..but that was a class action lawsuit..not a individual one like Potter and handy..and if you didn't opt out before 30 days you had to take the peanuts they gave you

That's why we have to give Potter and handy a 40% cut of the settlement amount..they doing all the work!!!
You’re a real weird guy.

these lawyers are f***ing you and you still lick their boots.

their calculator was a lie. just accept that and move on

their guidance has been absolute trash.

the only reason people get these long winded emails is b/c they’re charging extra for every f***ing paragraph. Wait and see. Guarantee there’s gonna be extra charges beyond their 40% cut and paste charges.

Not to mention they gave zero guidance for James v Uber and it sounds like Potter Handy clients couldn’t gotten that money also if they signed up. but they gave some half-assed non-response b/c they didn’t have a clue. We would’ve had the money a month ago.

absolute trash law firm
