So, after 6,5 years living in NYC I decided to move in Fairfax Virginia. I think it's time to move for me , because my kids still young . I want to live for rent first year, maybe next year I will buy house . Today I'm submitted all my documents to brokerage agency and hopefully I will approve by next week. $1750 for 2 bedroom apartment in Fairfax square apartments. Location is good 40 minute drive to WASHINGTON D.C, 30 minute drive to Dulles International Airport, 20 minute drive to Alexandria , 2 hour drive to Appalachian mountain West Virginia. My place in Staten Island contract till December 1 , but I had talk with landlord he said I will charge you for minimum 6 months, on June 1 it will be 6 months. End of April I'm planning move all my staff from Staten Island to Fairfax Virginia. Also in Virginia many Afghani restaurants. I will spend $1800 rent +$1500 brokerage fee , $75 documentation. I want to rent my car for $300 a week in NYC to keep TLC plate when everything back to normal. My friends find job for me driving 15 passenger VAN , $800 a week from Monday to Friday. I can do Uber&Lyft if I want on weekend. Good luck to all TLC drivers and their families in NYC . All pictures from websites. SORRY GUYS IF I BOTHERED YOU WITH JOKING AND TROLLING.

Moving again so soon? Good luck. If you ever change your mind come back to nyc. It's a different world in the south, store clerks come to you saying good morning whenever you walk in, I am not used to that friendliness but you will see a difference than from New York. If you are in a mall and just walking through you can also get stopped by store employees who want you to go inside the store.

Find one for me. I might move out too. How about healthcare? Health insurance? Rent seems as high as NYC. How can you live with $800/week?

Because is almost new complex .Mostly apartments in this area is all complex . I posted pictures of list what included for that price .Yes, it's almost like NYC .But you can find for cheaper price to . But, i like this location. $800 is just for beginning. Even Uber driver told me he could make easily $1200 a week before corona virus. Virginia state offer free or low payment Medicaid for adults and children. Is liberal state and welcome for immigrants. You can call to make appointment, yes there have available apartments, you can take 1 bedroom is cheaper.

Good move @Kalanick. I never post here usually, but I moved from NY about 2 years ago to NOVA too, so I still follow this thread. Right now I am living in Fairfax too (close to GMU) so it's definitely more relaxing than NY is right now. Lemme know if I can be of any help :)

🤔🤫🤭 let him be there, never comeback to ny. 🤪

Kalanick. I don't know why you are running away from covid19. Since you beat it already, you are immune to it.
It's obviously 🙄, Alina there, he in love 😍
