She stopped to assist what appeared to stranded motorist when said motorist put a cord around her neck and tried to rape her.

Her only regret: Not carrying a gun. She has a conceal carry permit but Uber and Lyft don't allow drivers to carry weapons.

She plans to call the companies to ask them to reconsider even though she was not on shift as a driver and the suspect was not a customer.

She wasn't online at that moment but if she left her gun at home to comply with Uber for earlier in the day (or later) and she couldn't teleport back home to get it while offline.

Maybe she will sue Uber and Lyft and then they might reconsider their policies.
