Apparently drivers aren't "entitled" to living wages, either, let alone enough of an income to meet quality and safety standards in this industry.
People throw a lot of words around these days without comprehending their definitions or context. Entitled is easily in the top five of most misunderstood and overused words in the English lexicon.
All working people are entitled to living wages and those who work in industries with immense cost and risk factors are entitled to much more.
I don't care if people don't tip so long as the pay I receive is reasonable relative to what I have to invest to provide services. I'd prefer to forgo tips altogether in lieu of a vastly improved salary.
