I am happy to be classified as a contractor, but Uber is digging its own grave with the way they control every aspect of the trip expect driving the car.Hi Scottie.
What is your opinion now.
Are drivers employees or not.
Uber do not accept the booking from the pax, the driver accepts. This would not make a driver an employee. If you are asked to pick up someone without destination, then you are deemed to be an employee to follow orders blindly!
The driver accepts the trip request not the booking. The driver has no control over the 'booking' as it is Über's app which facilitates it.Uber do not accept the booking from the pax, the driver accepts. This would not make a driver an employee.
Foodora works same way as Uber etc.Uber do not accept the booking from the pax, the driver accepts. This would not make a driver an employee.
I haven't signed up to Ola or Taxify. From what I gather drivers must accept the majority of calls otherwise face deactivation which is also a loss of independenceContractors should be able to see where is the pick up and drop off point. If you are asked to pick up someone without destination, then you are deemed to be an employee to follow orders blindly!
It this aspect, Ola and DiDi are really contracting out rides because they show the complete detail of the contract before you accept the trip request
I really have to wonder how you precious petals live with yourselves. Do you get 'creeped out' when you see yourselves naked? Talk about drama queens. I worry about the survival of the species with your precious and prudishish outlook on interpersonal relationships. He will send you a 50 page report on the 32 pages he read. With creepy comments towards any female names mentioned?Yeah all of them![]()
