The gig economy is being legally challenged for engaging in sham contracting.
Foodaroo is being legally challenged for engaging in sham contracting, not the gig economy.
Even the item you posted states that the fair work ombudsman has commenced legal proceedings involving the gig economy.

Any idea what happened with the Fairwork investigation into Uber?

Contractors should be able to see where is the pick up and drop off point. If you are asked to pick up someone without destination, then you are deemed to be an employee to follow orders blindly!

It this aspect, Ola and DiDi are really contracting out rides because they show the complete detail of the contract before you accept the trip request

Uber do not accept the booking from the pax, the driver accepts. This would not make a driver an employee.
Foodora works same way as Uber etc.
But fact is the FWC considers it a sham contract and delivery people are really employees who deserve all entitlements .
Fact is all these technology apps are a ruse to exploit people

I haven't signed up to Ola or Taxify. From what I gather drivers must accept the majority of calls otherwise face deactivation which is also a loss of independence

He will send you a 50 page report on the 32 pages he read.
With creepy comments towards any female names mentioned?
Yeah all of them ;)
I really have to wonder how you precious petals live with yourselves. Do you get 'creeped out' when you see yourselves naked? Talk about drama queens. I worry about the survival of the species with your precious and prudishish outlook on interpersonal relationships.

Human engagement and relationships are the fundamental building blocks of civilisation and yet for some petals here, they are not to be discussed let alone recognised. You would not be out of place in the Victorian era with its repressive attitudes and high moral tone.

I struggle to see how you were actually conceived as your parents would have been totally 'creeped out' sharing a marital bed. I can only conclude that you were products of IVF. :D
