So I know alot of people dont do pool....so this is for the drivers who do....I did a couple of express pool this week.....I did not accept these rides on purpose....it comes in as a regular pool....there is no warning....the only way you know its express is because after you accept the ride, a messege comes up that the pax is walking to the destination....once I arrived I saw them running to the spot....on the second added pax, there was no one there when I arrived...waited 2 mins since its pool and cancelled....recieved my cancell fee.....people are going for it because they say they save around $3.....OFC people looking to save 43 will not consider tipping......thats my experience with express so far.....ok your 2 cents....thx

I'm curious about the pickup locations, seeing that drivers have to wait 2 minutes, in your experience so far, have they been places where it is legal to stop and wiat?

no the stop is an random place....mine was a corner....luckyly I had a red light....other wise it would have been a safety issue...I think this is still in the early stages here in NJ....but people are definitely interested in it. My last drop off on my second express pool was a resturant....

I did one of these the other day. Pickup was a very unsafe intersection in North Bergen with nowhere to pull over.

That won't always help with Express. What they're shooting for is loading your car like a bus... you'll be picking up Pax 1, 2, and 3 all at the same corner.

they are going to gimp the stop requests soon just like the DF filter if ppl keep abusing it, better to just not accept pool in the first place, or they need to fix express pool with safer pickups

I absolutely always do that. However I don't need Uber putting my car and myself in harms way to pick up some cheap paxhole who wants a semi private bus and won't tip.
