Time to roll out the jitney buses, again!
It's UberHop 2.0.
Rolling out today in Seattle.
Uber, of course, says this will benefit drivers in what has to be the lamest and most r e t a r d e d spins yet-by reducing the number of turns we make in our cars!
From their press release: /s
Are you tired of picking up and transporting 1 person per trip?
Are you drained from of all those right and left turns you have to make on your trip for a single pax?
All that turning is exhausting!
And we, at Uber, are here to help.
We have been listening to your concerns these past few months on how we can improve Pool.
Express Pool-our newest offering-allows more people to ride cheaply. And, in turn, drivers have less wear and tear on their car as they make fewer turns.
It's a win-win for everyone! (But mostly for Uber because we make 2-4 times as much on each ride as we used to, wink wink.)
UberHop died quickly in Seattle because we refused to do it and because riders hated it.
Let's make sure to kill it again.
