Even though I had the destination filter on, I was still 5 miles away. There were multiple Goober drivers sitting in the J W lot. They may not have been using the filter but still only several hundred yards from the pick up location.

I'm not complaining because it was a nice ride to the airport. Just seems a little weird to me because 80% of the time when using the filter it's not even close.

It's funny, I was about to respond to this with an antidote but thought NAH, that's a pro tip. And I'm no pro, I've just seen this before and figured out the logic.

I think their system gives priority to Dest Filter locations. Had same thing happen the other night on freeway, 10 min/6miles away and the guy canceled on me 3 times in a row when he saw how far away I was. I'm sure the rider app was showing closer cars & shorter wait time.

I'm glad he did though because I ended up with a 15m trip on Lyft Dest Filter a few mintues later.

I was on 60 heading west and a got a ping for Mill ave I decided not to take it.

The airport was surging and I turned XL mode on and got a ride to north Scottsdale! It's always nice to go the direction of home at 12:30am! #nodestinationfilter

I got lucky last night also. Head to airport was surging 2.5 plus. As I pull in the shit went white. Go figure. Get in que. get a ride 2 mins later to Litchfield park. Nice to not head to west valley every night empty. Of coarse no tips either lol.
