Picked up a guy today trip was from Hawthorn to Ringwood. Guy is like "Hey bro, Can i add a stop?" I was like sure see it's to a kebab shop.

I was like are you getting a kebab? He's like yes bro I'm starving. I told him a kebab would take 5-15 mins to make and i was not going to wait that long, I gave him 2 options i could either drop him at the kebab shop and end the trip there or he could order through phone/Ubereats so they could prepare it in advance and we pick it up. Then he's like but "I added a stop bro" I told him stop means i either drop/pick someone off a small 1 min exchange, It doesn't mean i have to wait for him and waste my time.

Dunno how these oxygen thiefs feel so entitled and feel its okay to waste someone elses time.

Oh Davoda - I've had that shit happen too... only mine was a stop, which I stupidly initially said yes to, so that a tyre could be changed on a car - the bloody random thing - it was taking forever though so I kicked the friend out of the car and told the others I had a line of rides waiting and they needed to book another Uber. Human's man... what more can I say!

Had a guy curse me out since I would not wait on him to do a Walmart run. I then got paged back to the same Walmart for a different passenger and he comes up the car threatens me. Called the cops and Uber.

Also a lot of entitled parents with no car seats. Saturday - had a woman with 2 kids, no booster (4 & 7 boys) and she was pissed. She didn't want cancel and pay me, so drove to the next street over and waited out the timer, she comes over and started screaming, so I drove off. She threw a rock at the car (didn't hit) and I called the cops. Timer runs out, called Uber for the threat and racial slurs and then accepter her trip again just to keep her there until the cops arrived. She was standing in her yard with a baseball bat. WOW

Thank God for these delivery companies as I rarely get asked to go into a drive thru at a fast food restaurant. If I do, I tell them I wait 5 minutes which is about a 2 car wait. If they offer me food like a combo meal and I am hungry then I might give them more time. Time is money except when you drive rideshare and moving my wheels is money!

Not that bad mate... I've gotten phone calls from the rider that ask me to go in and buy them beer or go get them food and then drop it off at their address. I say okay and cancel.

What I won't do anymore but have in the past was pick someone up at a fast food and they want to go through the there to get the food and line of cars be 10 minutes wait. Then they start crying when they can't eat the food in the car. Need to get me some of those.

The real problem is the other drivers not really the riders it always oh my last hundred and one drivers let me smoke, vape, have my beer in the car and eat my burger too!

Yeah, 90% of problems with riders can be eliminated before they tug on the door handle IMO.

The cancel button is our friend, as is the word "No" .

The little nagging doubts I have about a job as I'm inbound have proven to be almost infallible on the ( many ) times I've ignored it. I don't ignore it anymore. There's PLENTY more fares.

I'm sure all of us have little things or places we won't do.

There's a shopping centre up here that I outright will not pick anyone up at. I don't care how much the job is, the joint is a nightmare. I get a few drop offs there and I tell them exactly where I'm gunna drop them the second I find out they're going there. There's never an argument so my guess is most drivers up here feel the same way about that particular hellhole.

I got a westfield shopping center near me and have to go pass it going into the cbd...
Had some good riders but it a freaking nightmare as some riders don't know there is a "designated pick up area" they want you to up upstairs to pick them up on the top parking level... B!tch please don't get paid enough to climb parking levels and climb back down...

Now i see the ping pick up from there and just ignore it unless it night and it coming from the pick up area. It uber own fault that they made the 3% cancel rule which is super low so their riders suffers. Call a cab.

.......... Call a cab.
It's a funny one the "Call a cab" up here.

I reckon I get 10 riders a day ( Out of 35 a day ) whining that they can't get a cab ( 90% of them are travelling from big cities ) . Then thank me for getting them. Did you learn anything from that champ?

I'll bet not.

Or they whine about no cab coming then whine about the surge. Let's see if I got this right - You were willing to pay double Uber's flat rate to get something that didn't turn up, I got here at the same price and it's too expensive? Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.

And HEAPS of them are gunna burn a $700 airfare for the sake of an extra $30, you get the same muppets "shopping around", always from a hotel at 0500.. You know EXACTLY where they're going at that hour from a hotel in 99.9% of cases. They cancel on you at 2.5X and then spam the hell out of you 5 minutes later when the surge has dropped back where they are. And whine that they can't get an Uber. You HAD one mate, you chose to "shop around" thinking there's a Sandeep on every corner. There isn't up here champ, even a real quick look at your app when you're looking for a ride should TELL you that. You're not in Sydney or Brisbane now.

And funnily enough us drivers can read a name and location on the phone, and have no time for the likes of you. If you're gunna shop around then don't get surprised that I am too.

Got those liars that say imma tip you if you pick me up

Well... I was going to pick you up but since you bold face just lied to me about tipping when i wasn't even expecting one imma use up 1 of my very limited cancellation i can do on these RS apps to cancel you cause I can't spend a minute in a with you.

Or be that rider because they are embarrassed about their fare distance. I don't care if it 1 meter drop off or 10km drop off if i'm picking you up i'm expecting it a min fare anyways. They go into the whole imma tip you $5 or whatever and go out of their way so you don't down rate them for their trip in which case i would of given them 5 stars anyways but since they bold face lied and can actually see tips which i don't think the stupid riders realize that drivers can see tips because their just too stupid i rate them 1 star for lying.
