Started Uber this week. Edmonton is one hell of a city tbh. It’s big & sprawling compared to a lot of other cities I’ve been to. Problem is the city is alive only on the south side and downtown. A bit on the west. The whole week I was at Sherwood park, St. Albert, Spruce grove etc and 3-4 times at the north end of the city……it’s been disappointing.
Compared to Toronto rides are longer and making 23-25$/hr is not an issue at all. Spoke to another driver who said he makes 30/hr…..Don’t know what magic formula he uses. Id like to know more about this market. If there are any Edmonton based Uber drivers here…..do share your experience.
