I took a trip at 9:00 pm to EDC. Traffic was terrible, lane going there barely move. There are dirt road, with stones and potholes. I arrive at the destination at 10:15 pm. Uber only paid $26.93 because it took a dynamic rate of 3.25. The client paid a total of $ 50.80. Then I was there waiting until 11:00 pm for a request to come in, user didn't arrive until 15 minutes later. It took 30 minutes to arrive at the destination, they paid me $ 17.57 and the client paid $ 52.16. Conclusion, I was paid for almost 3 hours and all the inconveniences like fuel etc... that comes for a total of $ 44.50. I honestly cannot be more disappointed of Uber. The uber support is terrible and in a special event like this, the only ones who are winning is Uber.

We have a Board for Las Vegas. Take a peek at it. There is a topic on EDC there.

I am not in that market, but one thing that I do is avoid major events if I am driving the Uber/Lyft car that day. We do have more than a few major events in the Capital of Your Nation and its Metropolitan Area. You do nothing but sit in traffic. Uber's rates are garbage as it is (as are Lyft's). They are worse when you are sitting in traffic. If you do get caught in traffic, you can bet the telephone bill that your customers will have no sympathy for you (in fact, many times they will blame it on you), thus expect ZERO tip.
