No, because it is all about ME! About MY gratification and convenience! I am a celebrity, after all! Celebrities don't carry cash for tips nor carry thanks for the chips.

Don't drive for Eats.
It will rain tomorrow morning. Let's get together at 7-11 Elwood by 5:30am. I don't want their "thank you" on base but "bye" on 3x to AP. Lol

When I delivered food, back in the good old days when Salvatorė, the well known in Carlton pizza resturant owner, had the local cops paid off so you never copped traffic fines while delivering (unless cameras, they couldn't do much about cameras) people used to not only say thanks but also give tips.. and not "be nice to your mother" or "race 7 horse 8" BUT CASH GRATUITIES...

Society has changed, if I ever done uber eats I'd spit on their food, if they were lucky, after taking the pizza toppings first ..

You didn't need to tax pizzas like that working for Salvatore , cos everyone got a free pizza every night, and all the garlic bread they could eat .

Those ads are a form of "reality television", alas :(.
People once had their "own" delivery persons - milkman, postman, etc.
Same person did the same job, every time, and you got to develop a two-way relationship with them, which included good manners and courtesy.
If you didn't act courteously to them, you'd get "revenge" (i.e. shitty) service.
Trust me on this - I used to be a relief "postie".
Nowadays, it's a different delivery person each time, so customers think they won't ever see them again and so they don't feel any need to be courteous to them for future benefits.
Just another way society is going down the gurgler.
