Since Sunday I have turned off UberX and only do UberEats as a precaution, and under advisement from my wife.
To my surprise, now a days over 90% of UberEats customers are tipping, and some quite well.
They are also requesting no contact delivery, which means I leave it at their doorstep, ring the bell and leave.

Tips - way more. Without I wouldn't drive. 9 rides 7 tips.

Was stuck inside yesterday and just wanted to be out on the road today. Rides were just an excuse. Paltry $72

Before today, I never received a single Uber Eats order, even though I had deliveries set to on. All different times of the day including peak meal hours, all different parts of the city, all different parts of the Bay.

At times, I even had the settings turned to only deliveries, and still no requests.

Finally fixed the problem and now I am getting Eats requests left and right.

On the other hand, it's only been a few minutes, but still no tips showing up. Maybe these San Francisco residents are used to stiffing Uber drivers, so why not Eats as well?
